Common Questions About Our Courses
We've answered some questions that prospective students often ask about our financial education programs.
Who are these courses designed for?
Our courses are designed for individuals in their 40s, 50s, and early 60s who want to develop deeper financial understanding and make more informed decisions. You don't need prior financial education or experience - just a willingness to learn and apply practical concepts to your own situation. The courses work well for people managing moderate to substantial assets who want to understand their options better.
How are the courses delivered?
Courses meet weekly for two-hour sessions that combine instruction, discussion, and practical exercises. Sessions are held in the evening at our Singapore location. You'll receive course materials including workbooks, planning templates, and reference resources. Between sessions, you'll have exercises to apply concepts to your own financial situation. We also provide email support during and after your course period.
What makes your approach different from typical financial courses?
We focus on developing understanding rather than providing prescriptive formulas. You'll learn to assess your own situation, understand the factors that influence financial outcomes, and make decisions that fit your specific circumstances and values. We emphasize thinking skills and principles over following rigid rules. Our instructors have extensive experience working with individuals at similar life stages and understand the particular considerations people face in their 40s and beyond.
What is the time commitment required?
Plan on attending weekly two-hour sessions plus approximately three to four hours per week for exercises and personal planning work. The time you spend between sessions working on your own financial situation is where much of the value comes from. We design the workload to be manageable for working professionals, and you can adjust the pace of personal work to fit your schedule.
Do I need to share personal financial information in class?
You'll never be required to share specific personal financial details in the group setting. Course exercises and discussions use hypothetical scenarios and general concepts. Any work you do on your own financial situation stays private unless you choose to discuss it. Individual consultations, where included in a course, are confidential one-on-one sessions.
Can I enroll in multiple courses?
Yes, and many students find value in progressing through our courses over time as their knowledge and needs develop. We recommend starting with the course that matches your current knowledge level and immediate priorities. The Strategic Money Management course provides a foundation that supports the other programs. We can discuss the appropriate sequence for your situation when you inquire.
